Cork Valley’s Mirror Houses are clad in reflective glass. From the outside, the holm-oak woodland and the sky of the Montes de Toledo are doubled on the facade and the building almost disappears. From the inside, the glass is transparent: the dehesa comes right into the room, and nobody can see in.

It is not a decorative effect. It is how you stay on a private 70-hectare estate without building on top of it.

On the lower level, where the pool for people overflows, there is a second pool measuring 2.5 x 12.5 metres designed for dogs. Open 24 hours, all year round. The upper one is for people only; the lower one is theirs.

Starlight certification over the glass

Cork Valley is a certified Starlight Destination y Singular Rural Accommodation recognised by the regional government of Castilla-La Mancha. This is not a figure of speech about the sky of the Montes de Toledo: the Starlight certification accredits the quality of the night sky and the conditions for observing it. From the hot tub, on a clear night, the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye.

How many people fit?

The Mirror Houses are designed for two. This is adults-only accommodation.

Are the hot tub and the sauna private?

Yes, for the exclusive use of the unit. The pool, on the other hand, is shared between the guests staying.

Can people see in from outside?

No. The glass is reflective from outside and transparent from within.

Do you accept dogs?

Yes, with conditions and a supplement. They also have a pool of their own, open all year round.

What time is check-in?

Check-in at 17:00 and check-out at 13:00. We are open 24 hours.
